She's Gone - Start

Company boss Harry Sands endures every parents' worst nightmare when his daughter Olivia goes missing in Istanbul while working for a charity during her gap year. Concerned by the fact that he and his wife Joanna have not heard from her for a few days, their anxiety mounts when Olivia's friend Manda calls to tell them that she has disappeared.

Harry drops everything to fly to Istanbul and uncovers a web of deceit as he carries out his own investigation into her disappearance. To his horror, Manda confesses that the charity work was a cover story for her and Olivia to work as exotic dancers in a sleazy nightclub and after meeting the club manager Arto, Harry becomes convinced that foul play is to blame.

Harry's suspicions are further aroused by middle-aged British businessman,   Peter Vine. A regular visitor to the club, Vine had taken a particular liking to Olivia. Harry confronts him but despite his suspicions, Vine admits to nothing more than paternal feelings for her.

Determined to find out what has happened, Harry is joined by his son Michael and probes Manda for any clues. He is shocked to find that his daughter had a secret she was desperate to keep from her parents. Manda seems to think that Harry's over protective, uncompromising attitude is partly to blame for Olivia's disappearance.

Back in London, Joanna receives a postcard from Olivia, dated on the day she was last seen and urging her parents not to worry as she has gone off for a while. Harry is placated further by the news that Olivia was spotted flying into Britain two days earlier and he and Michael joyfully return home.

But the mystery intensifies as it emerges that another woman bearing a startling resemblance to Olivia used her passport and ticket to enter the UK. Olivia has not reported her ticket or passport missing and once again fearing the worst, Harry flies back to Istanbul with his wife. Together they uncover a horrific sideline to the exotic nightclub where Olivia and Manda worked.

Convinced that a terrible fate has befallen their daughter, Harry and Joanna take the law into their own hands trawling the city's bleakest spots in their desperate bid to find out exactly what has happened to Olivia.
